Come on..you know my English is crap!

I mean "correlated" not "corraleted" on the last post...I need access to the row of data instead only the variable on the option, thats all..

Actually I didnt even notice you were from Brazil til just now.

I just dont use words like that when referring to code and databases so it must throw me off.

As for spelling.. I am the king of bad spelling mistakes so i dont make fun of anyone. Its the frigin internet after all.

And all you are saying it you want to loop the data to create all the select statements on the fly I dont see why this article i wrote doesn't help you.

http://www.powerasp.com/content/code-snippets/forms-populate -drop-down-menu.asp

looks to me like exactly what you are doing only minus the possible mistakes in what you showed me.

Your article is prety much like mine...in yours you have only access to the <Select Name="STATE_NAME" size="1"> variable   and on mine I have only to "cliente". The question is that I need to have access to the row of data that contains the variable selected in the option above to insert in the db.It seems only need another swl statement to select the rest of the row..so I did put another sql using the data selected from the option above by using request.form, but the issue is that it didnt work (object error)...
Thats why I post this doubt th be sure I saw going in the right direction....

Hello Chris..seems like the issue was how I was refering the variable to perform the select on the new sql using the selected variable on the option I mentioned...I realize I need to use '%"&variable&"%' instead "&variable&".
I solve the issue by scratch..so I'm still really confuse on how to refer variables inside and outside sql statements. Do you have a article link or some tips to post regarding this issue?
