These examples demonstrate exactly how to use ASP with a database. Many people have no idea how to do this.

I think these SIMPLE examples would have helped me out a lot when I started out.

I have a question regarding ASP with database. My question is if there is a way to link web browser(HTML/ASP) to an application (lets say a Student Record Management System written in C) using ASP as the middleware.
I don't have problem with connecting the program to the database using SQLAPI++. The main problem is how the form's input (lets say adding a new student) can be submited and read by the program so it can update the database. Or in other case, when I request the program to print a student's infomation and the program will reply back to the web browser as HTML/ASP.

There is really no easy way to do what you said.
They cant all work together like that. Middleware... etc etc

An ASP Based Web App and a C Program could definetly share the same database but the ASP Web Based Code would probably have to be written from scratch to work on its own and mimic the functions of the C app.

There might be some conversion software out there to help out..

There is also a lot of software out there that just creates a lot of asp pages for you based the structure of a database.
