Hi guys,

I have an intranet site working on asp and recently I include a new chart via asp instead dundas. The problem is every time I try to run it, the sessin expires no matter if I click this link less then one minute after logged. By the way.. I search for some session.abandon at this script (that I kept from an asp forum)and also try to increase the global.asa timeout but nothing seems really help this issue...
Any clue?

Sounds like it could be an intranet issues.
Web sites often act diffently on an intranet.

I'd double check all web browser security settings as well as anything related to that.

Almost sounds new windows are not using the same session variables as they previous windows which is also related to client side settings..

That is about all I can think of.

Thanks again Chris,

I checked the sessions variables on the new chart script I include..and by the way there isn't any. I try to include some session Id checking on the top of this new file but the scenario didn't change at all.
Do you know if I'm able to force the session to remain still after executing this chart by adding some vb or javascript?

I really do not know, but I suspect your problem has all to do with random weirdness and nothing to do with anything that makes sense..

not that.. that helps you
