Im very new to asp. Im creating a website. I came across some problem with my website.I can not connect to the database (access) in the ASP pages.
Earlier I did that in my home pc, then I formatted my machine and reinstalled everything including IIS.
but now can not connect to the database. How to solve this problem? Anybody can help me on this?
Do we have to use DSN connection or DSN less connection?
I think, to use dsn-less connection we dont need to change anything in ODBC connection settings? Is that right?

Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005)
Operation must use an updateable query.

If you help me on this It will help me a lot.
