in first line all users whcih are accessing that file(user1,user2)

in second line all fieldname/columnname(eg. recordno, fname, lname etc.)

from third line onwards i have to store records under that column name.

new records can be added by appending records in that file but how i can add new user record in that first line

Response.AddHeader "content-disposition", "attachment;filename=" & vReport & ".XLS"

open recordset and retrieve the data

response.write user name

response.write recordset.field(0).name --- will print the table heading

responset.write recordset.GetString(,,"|", vbCRLF, " "

I am not included all the code. you can follow the above steps

Regard,
