I'm currently in the middle of the most advanced ASP project I have ever worked on, and was wondering if I can get any feedback on what anyone thinks about it so far (or suggestions for improvement later, etc.)
Basically, it will be a single core set of ASP files, that will allow anyone to set up a webpage in minutes by simply selecting a pre-developed site template, and pre-developed site plugins (a plug-in being anything from a menu, to a CC processing tool, etc.), so that user's can simply "manage" their site look/use rather than program everything over and over again. In there end there will even be an import to instantly convert any existing site, and a full blown content management system to update files w/o ever even needing to leave your web browser (can even update ASP code directly from the site)
This project is planned to be open source but is still months away from completion, but to check out a sample of how it basically will work, we are currently testing it at http://www.asptree.com.
Feel free to ask *any* questions
Edit:
Really just curious if anyone thinks finishing this off completely will be worth the effort.
